Title: e280 sansapatcher - No E200s found
Post by: jldavis on February 02, 2009, 04:40:16 PM
I've got an E280 that has a Large R on the back so I tried the E280R path to get the bootloader installed, but that returned the message "vanilla e280 detected - use sansapatcher"  Then sansapatcher says it cant find the E280...
Ive got the factory instaled sansa firmware revision 1.02.24A, and ran across a link that said I should load a downrev of this firmware (1.01?) but have not been able to find any help to do this.  When I go to the Sansa website it only points me at the latest firmware.  Anybody run into this issue?  Thanks in advance.

I have 1.02.15A on mine.  I don't think that your version should cause any problem with installation.

Sansapatcher needs to be run with administrative privileges, but I'm not so sure that this is the explanation for it not seeing any Sansa connected to your system.
