Title: 1st Gen iPod Nano Database issues?
Post by: aa274631 on January 08, 2009, 08:29:40 PM
I just installed Rockbox for the second time and only three songs out of my entire database are showing up. I have 300+ songs but only three are showing up and I don't know how to fix that.
Any help, please?

Are the files properly tagged with ID3v1 or ID3v2 tags?  If not, they won't show up in the database.

I'm not sure. How do I tag them?

With a tagging program such as tag&rename, foobar2000, etc.  This really isn't on topic here, but check google, I'm sure you can find tutorials.

Alternatively, since you opted not to tag the files in the first place, you might just want to use the file browser and play the files directly.
