If you are not actively updating the iteration of this theme on our theme site, it might pay to contact a maintainer to have it removed.

It avoids potential confusion, and the copyright takedown that's just begging to happen if someone realizes where those images were taken from and reports it via our theme site.

I would like to maintain my theme on the theme page, but I wonder how to update it there without losing my downloads, votes and ratings, since there is no button to edit or update it. You can only upload a new theme.

That's incorrect.

I believe, though I may be mistaken, that the initial upload process details this but I would need to look at the theme site source and/or create a dummy theme to check this, anyway...all one needs to do is upload the theme with the exact same credentials (theme name, email address, and author - if I recall), and it will be replaced with the updated version.

I would still be wary about the possibility of copyright infringement notices, though.
