Thanks in advance to any who can help me! I have converted Sansa Fuze players to Rockbox several times in past years. I got a new player -- a Fuze v2. -- and went to find bootloader file online and no longer see any active download locations. The link on the Rockbox/Fuze page is no longer linking up to an active download. HELP!! Again, many thanks for anyone who can.--Peter

The download links are all working for me. Could you clarify which one you couldn't access?

Hi Saratoga, can't thank you enough.
I begin here:
http://download.rockbox.org/rbutil/win32/RockboxUtility-v1.4.1.zip
then I get to this page, where I click on the bootload file for Sansa v.2:
https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SansaAMS
and the file I download under "bootloader": for Sansa v2
is not a file that the Utility can upload.
the file I download is named: bootloader-fuzev2 (which seems fine)
but when I try to save it from my downloads folder to desktop, so I can identiify it for the Utility,
... it will not be accepted by the rockbox Utility
It's like it's an empty file. Odd.

Rockbox utility will download the bootloader automatically, and so you don't need to download it yourself. What you need to download is the sandisk firmware.

You are absolutely correct. Problem solved. Rockbox installed with no issues. Very embarrassing! I really appreciate your help, and salute the whole community, which is amazingly dedicated. Thank you.--peter
