Title: Main Menu Selections
Post by: mattandme on February 18, 2008, 10:24:32 PM
I looked for it, but no one has asked about this that I know of.
I own an iPod 5.5G and Rockbox, and I like it, you can edit almost everything. But you cant edit the Main menu; as far as I know, it's just the database. I would like to get rid of things i don't use (i.e. recording) or add useful folders. (i.e. \Gameboy\) Th OF had it, and it took me a while to realize that Rockbox didn't.

I saw this image though, on the icons Gallery:

How did they do it?

Customized build. You can edit the menu via a rather small edit of the source, and compiling your own build.

They modified the source code and compiled their own build or downloaded an unsupported build someone else provided.  Short answer:  unless you're interested in learning the basics of C programming you should probably just deal with what you've got and be happy you can play Gameboy ROMs at all.  :)   Check out the unsupported builds section of the forums, though, maybe someone has had the same wants as you.
