Title: Why two way to access Pitch Rate menu in WPS?
Post by: Crafty on December 13, 2012, 12:23:32 AM
Accessing the Pitch Rate and Semitone menu by pressing [Select]+[Play/Pause] while in WPS is a big problem.  Big thumb.

Is there a way to disable this keypress?  Did I do something to enable it?

The WPS context menu also offers the Pitch menu.

which target? You might be able to change it if it is the hotkey action.

It's definitely in the manual... however & as far as I remember...
One way with timestretch enabled
One way with timestretch disabled

I wrote this in my tips list a long time ago... you might find it useful (at 1st glance it's meaningless to me !)
------------
> Pitchscreen = in wps screen > long-press <play/pause>
>> Settings> Sound > Timestretch = N ( no Reboot.. )
>>> allows to change Pitch+Speed simultaneously
-----------
>> Settings> Sound > Timestretch = Y ( & Reboot ! )
>>> allows to change Pitch & Speed separately
-----------
Pitch And/Or Speed settings are LOST upon Reboot
Pitch And/Or Speed settings are STORED in Bookmarks
----------------------------------------------------------------

ok, it's a long [play/pause] press.
Thanks, that's helpfull.  I don't see it in the pws key list.

I found the short [power] is a better way to pause because it pauses in screens other than the wps.
