Title: Ipod classic to speaker
Post by: shero2010 on May 29, 2020, 04:12:50 PM
Greetings !

I'm trying to figure if it's possible to make my Ipod Classic with Rockbox works if plugged in my speaker. For now, it only shows up the "USB Keypad Mode : Multimedia". I tried to look for how to disable it, but maintening any button such as Menu, and so did I. Still, it did not worked. My speaker is a Philips DCM580, and works with my other Ipod that is not using Rockbox.

Thanks in advance for your help ! :)
Best regards

Shero

Apple accessories with digital output cryptographically verify that the device is running the apple firmware, so digital out isn't possible. You could try holding any button while putting into the dock to disable USB mode and see if it'll accept analog output from an iPod.
