Title: Rockbox 3.15 released!
Post by: __builtin on November 14, 2019, 07:48:12 PM
Hello all,

On behalf of the Rockbox developers, I'm very pleased to announce that
Rockbox 3.15 has just been released!

Of note in this release is the official promotion of the iPod Classic
to stable.

Go here to download the installer (individual zips are also available):

https://www.rockbox.org/download/

Read up on other noticeable changes in 3.15:

And above all, enjoy!

Franklin

P.S. It may be a little while before the front page is updated to
reflect the release. In the meantime Rockbox Utility will allow
you to install 3.15, or you can download individual builds from:

Hi i see this in the wiki "Sony NW(Z) Linux devices are now stable.".

Does that mean they are included in the installer? Also, the above is referring to this?

https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SonyNWLinuxPort

I have a nwz e353 that's running rockbox, but according to what I know, not much has been done to the sony nwz linux port since radio feature was added. A big problem I see is that i have to always play music with backlight on because of the "Audio stutters when backlight is off " issue. I don't believe that developer AmauryPouly is working on the port currently so that's one reason why not much has been done lately for that. Anybody to help with this?

I upgraded from 3.14 to 3.15, but now the battery is draining much faster with the same configuration. Is this expected? Can I get good battery life with 3.15, or do I need to downgrade back to 3.14?
