Title: Sansa e200 Shuts down immediately after boot

Rockbox boots, but less than a second after the menu appears it shuts down. However, the Shutting Down message stays forever and the player has to be forced off. Sandisk firmware boots fine. I removed and reinstalled Rockbox in case it was file corruption with the same result. I have also removed and reinstalled the bootloader.

If plug in the charging cable into a USB charger (not PC), does it still power off on boot? Wondering if the battery is reading low voltage and forcing a power off.

Yes. But I'm still suspicious of the hardware. There may be a problem with the power button.
