iPod Video 5g 30 Gb issue

Hello, I've been using Rockobx for the last six months and is great!! I had never encountered a problem with it, but since the 2007-03-23 build, when I try to run any application (games, image viewer, etc.) an error message apears saying "Incompatible Version" and it doesn't run anything . Therefore, I'm stuck with the 2007-03-22 build, which is not bad, but I'm not taking vantage of the progress been made for the last month.

Could someone help me with this error??

Firstly, why are you trying March builds instead of April builds?

Second, try updating your bootloader, installing the current build, and then deleting the rockbox.ipod file in the root of your player (there should be one in the /.rockbox folder now).

I said that the problem ocurred since March 23rd, but it is still happening with the newer and current builds!!
However, I'll will do what you've said and delete the rockbox.ipod file that is in the root of my player, and see if that works!

THANKS LLOREAN, ITS SOLVED!!!
The problem was the old rockbox.ipod file in the root of my player.  I deleted it and no problem!:D
PD: I had to move the new rockbox.ipod from .rockbox to root because im using ipodlinux bootloader... but now it all works perfectly!!!!

The iPodLinux bootloader is considered unsupported. You should be aware of this in the future. It can cause problems (like this).
