Unable to boot to original firmware on H320

Hi!

I decided to take the plunge and switch to ROCKbox for my H320.

I have just installed ROCKbox r13184-070416, and it will not boot to the original firmware.

I patched the 1.29K version of the firmware and installed using this.

My H320 boots into ROCKbox fine, but when I hold down the rec key and start it up it just flashes (quickly)
'starting original firmware...'
then shuts down.

Can anyone give me a clue (I know I need one)

Do you press and hold both buttons until the original firmware starts up? Unless you do that, you get exactly the behavior you describe...

Thank god I found this post as I was having the same problem.

Not that I ever want to use the original firmware after finding rockbox
