ok i checked the root of my player via pc and saw the files, but i can't open them via rockbox on my gigabeat. is there some way to save them as text files so they can be edited via rockbox?

http://download3-4.files-upload.com/2007-05/03/22/qwertylayout.kbd - here's a keyboard layout i made in qwerty format with larger font than the one that originally comes with rockbox. just save it to the root of your player or open it manually from the player.

Long select on the file and choose Open With ... then select the text editor plugin.
