Hi, in the menu of the text editor you can select "insert below" or "insert above" to ceate a new line.
See the manual for your target for the button to enter the menu (on h300 it's A-B).

Any way to change the font size on the keyboard? I have a Gigabeat and the keyboard appears as about the size of a postage stamp and the lettering looks like tiny ants crammed in a small area.

When you save a text file, it displays the pathname that it will svae to, as part of writing the filename. Perhaps you have closed the text editor without actually saving (it will do that without asking if you want to save...)

I'm not sure. I've only just got a Gigabeat and I've not played with the text editor yet.

I suspect the button required to DO the save (rather than cancel, which is what is happening) is either 'A' again, or the SELECT (centre control pad)...

I believe with the new buttom mapping changes, pressing A will save.  Where pressing the power button used to save, it is now A.  This is also the case for saving playlist names using the text editor.

It should show when you type the name.  If you erase all of that, my guess would be that you are saving everything to the root of your player.

I'm working on the wiki page a bit. Maybe some of you want to help add/fix some sample strings to create a new keyboard file?
