I'm sorry for being a newbie (MPEG-2 conversion question)

I've have Cinema Craft Encoder to encode into Mpeg-2 (with audio), but when I try to play back the file, I have no luck.  Does Rockbox only play back video files encoded with another encoder?  I would like to figure out how to use CCE with Rockbox although if I have to I'll reluctantly switch.

As long as you're making a file that meets the requirements described on the PluginMpegplayer wiki page it should be fine.

Oh I just forgot to run it through TMPGEnc to convert the video stream from M2V to MPG.  Sorry for my stupidity.  This is my first time using Rockbox video and I must say good job.  The picture quality is way nicer than that on the original h300 firmware  ;D
