Ok heres the thing. Itunes stopped working on my computer about 2 months ago which is i why i converted to Rockbox which allows  putting music on my Ipod 5g without Itunes. But their is no way to put music onto the database without the use of Itunes that i can see. Can anyone help? I was also wondering if anyone can help me on how to get podcasts onto the Ipod without using Itunes at all.

The Rockbox Database has absolutely nothing to do with iTunes.  It will find any supported music files, regardless of where they are on your player or whether they were loaded onto your player with iTunes or through some other method.  Follow the instructions for the Database located here:
