Buying A New Ipod

Hi All!

Ok so ive been a more than happy Rockbox user for a while now...on both of my irivers and my 4th gen ipod. BUT my ipod is no more and so im looking to buy a new one.

My question is, what model Ipod does Rockbox work the best on, I had the greyscale 4th gen prev....and am looking at 20 gig upwards again...thankyou!!

Well, Rockbox "works best on" the Nanos, but for your purposes, any of the 5th gen or the 30gig 5.5 gen work equally well.  Not sure why this question was asked, as there isn't much of a selection...

Thanks, I know but I just wanted to make sure. I was looking at the wiki section and couldnt quite make my mind...just looking for opinion really.

I haven't used a lot of DAP's or ipods but if you really want to run rockbox on an ipod, I'd say the video, it's the prettiest and you do have 30GB or 60GB of space. Why not just get a gigabeat?
