Error when Configuring Build

(1/3) > >>

Soader03:
I wanted to add a .diff file to my compiled rockbox. So I did all the steps (the Patching steps from this page: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SimpleGuideToCompiling and then, the Configuring build section). When I am to the step says: In that folder type ../tools/configure which will bring up a list of all possible devices , I type cd../tools/configure and I get a error that says: Le nom de répertoire est incorrect. Wich means in english: The name of the directory is incorrect (or something like this, because I have a Franch Windows). So I can't compile my own rockbox. Anyone knows what to do?

Febs:
Where is your build directory located?

Soader03:
It's C:\Rockbox\home\guest\rockbox-bleeding
In ...\guest\ I have the rockbox-bleeding.tar.tar file

ColdSphinx:
unpac the tar...

Soader03:
I already did it
