rockboy on a nano
« on: April 12, 2007, 07:09:14 PM »
first off, thank you so much to everyone that worked on/is working on rockbox. it is amazing and it is all i will ever use ;)

i know that rockboy is not supported for an ipod nano, but it works, it just needs to be compiled, which i have no clue how to do. would someone be nice enough to do this for me? or is there somewhere that i can already get it all together?

thanks alot
-brad

No, it is supported, and included, and is even in the manual. Have you looked recently?

ya, i know its in the manual, but i thought it was not supported. when i try to play a game ( .gb or .gbc) nothing happens. also, there is no logo beside the game, as there is a note beside a song for example.

It sounds like you have an outdated version of Rockbox. If you have a properly installed, current, official version it should work fine.

The forum guidelines require that you be using the latest version before asking questions about possible problems. Please follow them in the future. It was added in March, at the same time it was added in the manual.
