My iriver h120 is broken. The joystick on the main unit has come loose from it's place and the unid does no longer respond to it at all. The service center here in stockholm, sweden said they had to replace the motherboard for a price of SKR 1600, which is not an option. So, I decided to buy a torx 5 and open it myself and look at it, with no real knowledge of electronics. I'm hoping it is an mechanical error, ie that I can somehow put the joystick back in it's place and it will work again.
The next step is to ask around for a repair shop that may give it a try, but I have no real hopes there. Last I may of course buy a remote and use that instead.
If anyone has any suggestions I will be grateful. Hey, maybe someone actually lives in stockholm, has a spare joystick and good soldering skills...

...nah, that would be too mush to ask for.
update: Well! It seems that to ask for help was not to much to ask for, after all! Someone has kindly offered to help me with this and I am very thankful. And it is needed, since the joystick switch has come loose from all it's soldering points and those are small indeed. Not a job for an unskilled and somewhat clumsy person like me.
