New WPS: 45rpm theme for iPod 5g

This is my 3rd WPS which I made this over the last two days.  I really wanted to get the stylus to move but within the limits of the progress bar I settled for a representation of the track the stylus would follow.  A straight line just didn't look right.  In keeping with those old record decks I've kept to basic information on the screen, but enough to make it interesting.

Let me know what you think.  I've included the .xcf files from GIMP in the .zip file, if anyone wants to use it for another project.

That's a very unique layout you've got, I like it, this WPS has a very good "flow" to it, nice work
That's cool that you used a pic of a real record and stylus, which record is it may I ask?

The actual record I scanned in was "Colonel Abrams - Trapped" on MCA Records from 1985.  The central label was originally Silver.  In the original scan the label part was on the left side, but the I realised I'd have to make the progress bar track backwards if it was to follow the stylus track, so I flipped the image.  The only tell-tale sign of this is the embossed copyright print which is in French around the edge of the label, but still serves it purpose for effect.  The sylus is a from a Pioneer PL-Z470 deck,  I took several shots with my Canon Ixus V3 and placed a piece of plain white paper udnderneath it so I could extract the stylus image easier.  Fortunately GIMP allows you to rotate a layer so it was fairly simple process to get the stylus image in the right orientation.
