There's been a lot of requests for a Dockpod Aqua with a bigger font, I've always wanted to give it a shot, but I love
the look of the theme with the snap font. After much digging around on the interweb I think I've found a font that is
workable (it's not perfect). I set out to mess around with the Rockbox Font Converter, and found that size 13 is about good, here's the early result of my remix on Dockpod Aqua.

The text on the dock wont fit all at once, so I made it alternate every 5 sec. The progress bar has to be bumped up a few pixels, but other than that, I see this working out. Thoughts, and suggestions are welcomed, as always

possibly taking the dB out of the volume display to make it flush with the border. also possibly move the time left/played to the ends of the progress bar.

It's called swissmade, and I converted it with the rockbox font converter (meaning that it's not in the fonts package). It's free for personal use, and can be found at a number of free fonts webpages, just type swissmade font into google.

Improvements made to the progress bar, position of time, some code clean up, alignment on the dock, removed dB from volume. Just about ready to upload if there's no more suggestions, will do some hands on testing with my iPod first though.

one thing of note is the battery time, it is overwriting the HDD icon, is this much of an issue? should I just remove this?

IMHO, the hard drive icon is a bit pointless, I never really saw a point to it, if you could just remove the icon entirely, I know I wouldn't mind.

I'd honestly drop the battery time instead.

The HDD icon is useful for a few reasons (spotting buffer action or knowing when database generation is done.)

Meanwhile the "time remaining" is usually nearly useless. Your battery is not going to be in the same state as it, and it's an "ideal" time so it assumes certain usage habits that most people aren't likely to match. It's a best guess, and usually a pretty poor one unless your device is fairly new and you're not pressing any buttons.

It's helpful, but really just about as helpful as a percentage (which could probably fit in that space nicely).

HDD icon always works for me as I am forever docking and undocking my ipod to test out new wps and  latest builds, if I replace the ipod back in the dock too quickly, i.e before the hdd icon shuts off,  it quite often fails to connect and even crashes.  So I like to wait until it has done whatever it is doing (updating the database most likely as I have that set) and when the hdd icon goes off then I know its safe to reconnect it again.

I'm not sure of how or why this  theme hasn't been or isn't being talked about as much as it should. I believe that this theme is THE one to beat ! Out of all of the themes I've used since installing RB on my iPod, this one has pretty much all of the elements of where a clean, professional and  progressive theme should be headed.

I saw someone make mention off a default theme contest ? I don't know how this one wouldn't win to be honest with you. It's really easy to read, the color icons are pure class, as is the way the green arrow has replaced the way the way the regular line selector  works,  and it's really fast too.

Don't get me wrong, lately there have been a couple of really good themes besides this one, but I think that what makes it stand out is that it doesn't have too many cutsie little  things which try and make it overly unique and stand out-ish.

Kudos to you sir, simply wonderful work.  I didn't think that I'd stop using the Ubuntu theme for a long time !   I'd also like to point out that Simplex (both of them) is also a class act theme  !

I have a feeling that we'd be jumping the font back to snap, or a smaller font, if someone ported it to the e200. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
