F series dock station line out

Wow, I'm impressed that I can plug my earphones in the line-out of the dock station without having the adapter plug into it. But just a thing, I can't put the volume down? And I noticed that the sound quality is a bit low. Normal or not?

The Line Out from the dock station is a "Line Out" not a headphone jack. This means that it's fixed at line level volume and has different properties to a headphone jack (it doesn't expect load).

Oh, ok. That means to me that I don't need to buy a headphone spliter to listen music with a friend, thanks Llorean!
