Suddenly Rockbox disappeared!

Rockbox has been working fine...until yesterday, suddenly it was completely disappeared!! Now the original firmware loads. This happened when i could not "securely remove hardware" in windows, so i turned off my computer hoping it would shut down the ipod somehow securely.

What should i do?

Rockbox didn't disappear. It's the OF that doesn't shut the device off. It goes to sleep instead. Reboot the ipod by holding MENU+SELECT. You'll have to do that every time you boot into the original firmware.

I would think the manual covers this... Yep, it does; section 3.1.2.

Also I would suggest doing a file system check on the ipods filesystem.

Regarding the part about being unable to disconnect from the computer this often happens to me and is probably caused by "iTunesHelper.exe"

either that or your computer might be indexing you iPod
