Microphone volume on iAudio X5 [SOLVED]?

--- Quote from: Bren_McGuire on April 09, 2007, 05:48:28 PM ---Are you referring to the graphical equaliser gain settings or something else? I found the graphical equaliser gain setting, enabled it and moved all 5 sliders to the far right, yet all it did was make the playback sound louder; did nothing to the recording volume.

In the recording screen, press up/down to move the selection and left/right to change it.
Volume = monitoring volume (headphones), not the gain
Gain = recording gain (amplification of mic signal)
Bren_McGuire:
Yes, I thought it should be in the recording settings menu - was the first place I looked - yet there is no option in there for it, nor does the Rockbox X5 manual mention that there should be one.
Is it possible that it's not implemented yet for the X5?
Febs:
Look for the gain setting on the recording screen (i.e., the screen that displays while recording is in progress), not the recording settings screen.
Bren_McGuire:
Ah, yes! Now I feel stupid, lol. :p
Thanks :)
