savely remove doesnt work ?

i already posted cause of this issue long time ago, but cant find this thread now, neither can ii find a thread solving this issue ?? !
always get an error when i try to remove my IHP-100 ..
tried to config to... Optimised for safe remove in the properties of the Player, but this field is not available for me ,... WHY ?
someone got an idea ?

I get that almost every time with my H120 on my XP box. I have to do Safely Remove... a second time to get it to work. It also causes a brief drive spin-up, so I'm guessing it is clearing the write cache or something similar. On my Win2000 box at work, however, it's instant :)
Similarly, my H120 takes a long time to be recognised by XP, but is instant on Win2000. So much for progress... :P

My gigabeat does that too, I'm guessing the USB host sends a command to stop the disk, the player receives it and starts stopping the disk, which takes time. As the disk is stopping the player sends and error saying that the disk didn't stop. Then next time you do it, the disk has stopped and you can remove it.
