2 bugs in my E260 , could be useful for developers..

1.After installing RockBox OS in my E260 (4GB), produces random colored horizontal lines  for first two rows of pixels in LCD Display
It even affects the sandisks original OS...
When i play mpeg movies,those lines disappear..at other times they keep coming...
I cant even look the time battery_level..at the top of display..

2.While listening to mp3's ,if i press buttons repetedly like..-> and <- ,then LCD screen Fades out to White and Hangs...

Once you have checked that they have not been reported previously, please file bug reports using the link on the left.  Few developers regularly read the forums, and the information wil soon be lost.

there are threads running on this topic, but no response from developers side...
If i had known a bit of programming.. i could have solved this..

1) This is a known issue. On newer models this seems to happen. Unfortunately to my knowledge no one of the core developers (and me) have this effect. It is hard to track down the issue, if it doesn't appear.

2) Is this effect reproducable? If you are willing to help, you can try the build from foolsh: http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=9581.0 and check wether you still get the fading out. If it is ok, then we get a hint, where to look at.

Sort of irrelevant, but Toni's been looking at this for over a month and posted about it on the patch tracker.  Kind of unfair to say theres been no response.

Dont Mistake me saratoga.. Wat i wanted to say is that there has been no solution for the lines appearing , i understand that developers have little spare time to work and other than sansa, there are plenty of model to remove bugs...
