You'd have /.rockbox/bootsplash.bmp that would get loaded by rockbox.gigabeat for you, instead of /bootsplash.raw being loaded by fwimg01.dat

Ok, now I'm confused. Are you saying that eventually the rockbox.gigabeat will handle bootsplash loading? Because then that would be better, even though I'm fine with the current method.
