Working ok - some glitches

I successfully installed Rockbox on my ipod video 30GB this evening.  Very cool indeed.  There are glitches here and there and I assume they will go away as the project advances.  There will be some slow or delayed responses to menu selections... and pauses in the music as I click through the menus.  Overall though I think this is a great project.  

Actually I think the sound quality is far better now than the original product.  I have tested the original firmware versus rockbox with various quality headphones... high end and cheaper ... bottom line... Rockbox sounds better.  And that is the main draw for me.

Battery life is probably the biggest problem and the cause is still unknown (appart from the lack of documentation)
