How about we design an official rockbox shirt.  I'll upload a couple of my own designs.  I think we need some method of advertisement for rockbox.  It will be as free as getting a shirt can be.  Just buy a t-shirt from any drugstore and put on the image that we decide on.  Anybody can go down to the local Staples and grab some iron on tshirt transfer sheets.  

Then you just iron on the graphic.

I like the front of that shirt but I don't like the back.  Maybe just "Open Source Jukebox Firmware" on the back?

I thought about spreadshirt myself ... having some merchandising articles (especially t-shirts and stickers) would be a nice thing

I completely agree -- lots of people tell we "need" this an that. We really don't need any advertising for Rockbox (it's not a product). But some neat stuff like a spreadshirt shop would be a nice addon.

Maybe it could generate a little income for help with new ports or other dev work?  Aside from the donations of course.

Yo it might not be done for a while i have a lot of work to do.  I might be able to get it done today but it would have to be on a white shirt because i don't have any black shirts that don't have bands on them.

Personally I think Rockbox deserves all the publicity / advertising its members can drum up -- after all, the more people that know about this, the better.  The cafepress / SpreadShirt solution seems like a really good way to allow the membership here to both make a bit of a contribution and also get something to show for it -- with the added advantage of spreading the word too.  

Why doesn't someone just do it?  Any one person could theoretically open up their own online t-shirt shop and post the links to it here, and then donate all revenues to the organization... of course, it would be preferable if it were someone more better-known and trusted...
