Noise when recording with remote in H120

Hi
    I know that this has been discussed before so please excuse me, but the only reason for bringing this back and opening a new thread is because the related thread is closed (http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=5514.msg42768).
    At the given time I read there about the noise that appears in H120 when you record with the remote attached. I always had the problem but I never get worried about it because I wasn't using my device for recording. Now I got a nice pair of mics so I will use for it. I would like to apply the patch generated by Mmmm that can switch the remote lcd off so the recording noise associated to it would be minimized (http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=5514.msg42768#msg42768).
Shamely the link to the patch is dead so I can't get it  .

Here is the question: I saw that the patch was incorporated in the bleeding edge al July 31, 2006.... do you know if they hit the stable version?, if it did, what is the option to enable this feature?. If it never got included, can you tell me if that patch will still work in the current rockbox version and where can I get it?.

It's in the main build. just press vol- (on the remote) to disable the remote lcd at any time (in the recording screen), press it again to re-enable.

Bleeding edge (as was) is the current build.  There has been no stable release for anything except the Archos players.  You are recommended to use a up-to-date current build (this changes several times a day).
