Problem: Resume playback / navigate to database after restart

Hi all, I've detected what I think may be a bug related to playback resume/database mode/car adapter mode. Can anyone confirm this behavior?

[iPod, any recent build, using Database, Car adapter mode=on]

Prior to the new Main Menu, the behavior was correct:
 1- browse in database, say Artist1-Album1-select on track
 2- playback begins
 3- cut external power, playback pauses
 4- restore external power, playback resumes
 5- press Select, you are returned to Artist1-Album1 listing

Currently, this does work as described above UNLESS the iPod powers down between steps 3 and 4. If a power-down has occurred, then we get:
 1-,2-,3-,4- as above
 5- press Select, you are returned to the file browser root, necessitating a press of Menu, navigate to Database, and begin afresh navigating through the db.

I'll clarify that this occurs when Start Screen is 'Resume playback' or 'Previous screen'.

If Start Screen is anything else, then playback does not resume until Play is actually pressed, regardless of Car Adapter setting.
