Playing .WMA files with Rockbox

Chris The Ninja Pirate:
That makes me want to weep...........I decided to junk itunes, since I despise everything about it and so ripped my latest collection to .wma. Subsequntly I am in the process of trying to get my old ipod up and running again which prompted me to put Rockbox on and was hoping it would support .wma - case of RTFM sadly. Ho hum, I am going to have to convert all the .wma to something else now and hope they don't sound too s****y.

Out of curiosity, why did you choose WMA of all formats?

Rather a n00b mistake - I don't really 'do' compressed music, hence my ipod has sat redundant in a cupboard for the last 18 months, and not thinking about it before I sat down one wet winters afternoon, with a couple of bottles of red, I intended to grab a couple of tracks off a few CD's and ending up ripping about 100 CD's from my collection. Norks.
