iriver H140 MIDI 'playback' sound
« on: March 26, 2007, 08:05:23 PM »
Is it supposed to sound this bad or is it related to the semi-included patchset? If it has to do with the patchset, where do I get a different compatible one from?

Also, I take it that making the MIDI functionality a codec (with the usual playlist, WPS display, & functionality) can't happen, right?

Well, I get a buzzing sound through most of my MIDIs where background ambience wouled normally be. I'm guessing it sounds the way it does due to the patchset or the hardware (I'm expecting it to sound like the way it does on my PC (w/ Turtle Beach Santa Cruz).

As I can't explain it, perhaps I should upload some samples for comparison.
