Ooh, I get to help.  Rockbox is playlist based, meaning in order to dictate what happens to all the songs on your player, they all would have to be in a playlist.  (ie, shuffle, repeat all songs, repeat shuffle all songs, etc)

Make sure the Recursive Insert Directories option is enabled.
Quote from: From Manual
Settings → General Settings → Playlist → Recursively Insert Directories setting to Yes

You can easily create a playlist with all songs on your player.
* Go to File View.
* Long Select the top most Music folder.  (Folder with all of your music in it.)
* In the context menu select Playlists
* Select Create Playlist
* Name the playlist. (Read the manual for help with the virtual keyboard. [4.1.3 in the Gigabeat manual])
* I think you would press play on your H10 to exit the Vir Keyboard and save.  (I have a Gigabeat so hopefully that's the right button for you.)

Once you do this, a the playlist will begin populating itself with all your songs.  May take a minute depending on the amout of music on your player.

Now just play that playlist and shuffle away.

Nate, that worked FLAWLESSLY. Thank you so much man. This is great because with your method I don't have to worry about comedy albums or Howard Stern shoes coming up on my shuffle. Thanks again!

EDIT: This isn't a question exactly but I've had to hit the reset button a few times in the week I've been using my H10. Is it a faulty unit or is Rockbox still a bit unstable and causes the unit to freeze once in a while?

I have an H10 5gb and it is very stable. The only time it halts is when I put patches on it wrong! Try updating your build!

It's the newest build. Also, isn't the H10 5gb flash memory? If so that would explain it!

I have a 90 day warranty on this thing (got it from Woot). It doesn't commonly freeze, but I've had it lock up once or twice, and a few times jump to a song I wasn't even playing halfway through another song. I chalked it up to Rockbox being a WIP

Woah 256 isn't high?

All my songs are VBR with lame, gapless, etc.

well, 256 is a little high, but all my songs are mp3 so its less cpu intensive i belive, the only time i have had the skiping problem is with songs at bitrates of about 320 or so
