Sansa skips etc stop on static screens

Playing FLAC and MP3's on an e250 the noise (clipping, dropouts, skips or similar) stop if I change from the WPS to a static screen such as the main menu.  Also, the more activity there is on the WPS the more noise there seems to be (compare the Leo01 screen to the Rockbox default screen).  Has this been reported?  Can anyone else reproduce this?

The March 14 build played FLAC flawlessly but by the March 20 build the sound quality had changed.  I can consistantly go back to the March 14 build to confirm the difference.

The noise is due to memory stalls in the lcd_update functions. The calls to cache_flush() can be interrupted by the fiq handler before finish. So this problem is known, and will be solved soon.
The skips are related to cpu overload, so needs improvement on the codecs / system.
