Ok I have fixed the presets and I tried to encode (iPod nano 4:3) and a command line pops up that asks me to hit enter to continue. Is this the end? Is it done now? I unplugged my iPod and looked thru the files to find the file that I encoded (the destination point) and I couldn't find it. So this leaves the question, when am I done encoding? Does it finish in the background?

Oh, I think I see the problem. When I hit the encoding button, the command line pops up, and then (my personal favorite windows glitch)

THE APPLICATION OR DLL C:\WINDOWS\System32\AVIFIL32.DLL is not a valid windows image! Please check this against your installation diskette.

And now, once again, there is a bump in the road to get MPEG videos working on my iPod nano. Can anyone help?

Use one of the other encoding options from the wiki page (VLC, mencoder....) or simply replace your AVIFIL32.DLL !

o forget it I downloaded winXP SP2 (wow I didn't realize I didn't already have it!) and now the program works smoothly. I will see if it runs videos well momentarily.

YAY THE VIDEOS WORK NOW YAY!!!
Ok I'm really excited but one tiny thing bothers me. The sound and video don't exactly fit together as precisely as I want it to. Do I just suck it up and deal with it or is this fixable?

@ nerdman978: try the NEWEST build. It should fix your A/V sync issue.
