SOLVED: win xp does not recognize ipod w/ Mar 07 rockbox build

I have been running a build from Feb 07.  When I upgraded to a more recent build, my Win XP box does not recogzine my 4g color ipod.  While rockbox is loaded, I plug in my usb cable directly.  The usb screen appears on rockbox.  Ipod is not recognized.  The problem does *not* occur if I plug the usb cable in when the ipod is 'off'.  I have since 'rolled back' to the previous build.  I figure this problem is probably related to a particular build, but I am wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and/or can point me to a build that does not have this issue.  Thanks guys!!! 8-)

SOLVED:  Reinstalled to recent bootloader, now everything works fine.
