Use the "restore" function in iTunes.

I'm curious how one even installs Rockbox on a Nano 2G?  Don't the tools refuse to work if they don't find a supported target?

We're working on the assumption that it's either a 2nd Gen Mini being talked about here, or a 1st Gen Nano - since yes, ipodpatcher refuses to do anything to a 2nd Gen Nano.

Maybe u could use ipod updater, it will erase all the content
