NES would be great

I know back in the day everybody had a NES (most people) and it had some sweet games for it and it was great when you came from home and went to your friens house and played Duck hunt, mario brothers, or Zelda for hours at a time. So I was wondering, since all the creaters occasionally read these (which is great), is there any possibility that the next version or pluggin would offer a NES build because I know you can do it with Linux but frankily, we all know that Linux doesn't come close to Rockboxs, So hit me with anything.

For this to happen an open source NES emulator would have to be ported to Rockbox, which is a HUGE task. If you have any friends who are good with C you may want to try and make them do it. Otherwise, a NES emulator probably won't happen for a long time (if ever).

Pocket New already runs on the GBA, which in fact uses the same CPU at the PP targets and is available under license compatible with the GPL:

A port would be straightforward, at least for ARM targets.  68k would be harder.
