Yes, and that is the exact point at which your earphones suffered an (unrelated) hardware failure of some  kind... :P

Well we can't guarantee it's unrelated. But seeing as I tried the earliest sound code without damaging mine, and considering nobody else has damaged theirs, probability suggests that the damage is unrelated.

Actually, based upon the number of people for whom this occurs, and the frequency of it, I believe that there is a direct correlation.

X86:
xlarge I refer to weird sound to hear something like when you hit a desk with your hand closed I refer to that as weird sound in one of the earphones, so after that one of them blew out
