Skip Database Prompt On Startup

(1/1)

pbthal:
Hello,
I have a 30gb Ipod Video with Rockbox installed and working fine. My question is how if possible do I bypass the first screen asking me whether to use files / database etc. and automatically go to DB mode? And then when in DB mode have Album or whatever sort type chosen auotmatically? Is there a config setting I should be changing? Thanks

nls:
In the manual you can find the following:

--- Quote ---7.6.1.  Start Screen
Set the screen that Rockbox will start in. Selecting Resume Playback will resume playback where it was when the player was shut off if there is a playlist to resume and will then end up in the WPS. Selecting Previous Screen will make Rockbox start in the screen it was when the player was shut off.

--- End quote ---

the Start Screen setting is found in General Settings -> System -> Start Screen

To customize the database browser you need to make your own tagnavi.config file here is a long thread about it http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=6661.0
and here is the wiki page describing the syntax:
