Well not really.

I have VLC converting the files and i get an audio and a video. the PC says it is in mpg but rockbox doesnt play it. It says "buffering" for a few seconds and then cuts back to the menu.

there's the link for one of the videos. I uploaded it as a .zip. Please let me know if you find anything.

The problem with that file is that it's an "MPEG-2 Transport Stream", not an "MPEG-2 Program Stream".  The latter is what mpegplayer expects and requires.
