Sansa MPEG settings

(1/1)

jdoe:
Just a quick question:

The index says that for the sansa mpeg codec it can decode the video at 15 fps (i assume this means that it can do this and still have a relatively smooth video). Does this mean that the video has to be 15 fps as well? What would be the optimal a/v settings to have the audio somewhat synced and the video run somewhat smoothly?

Well, since there isn't video support for the Sansa on Rockbox (afaik) I'm assuming you mean video on the original firmware.  In that case, you just use the Sandisk Media Converter to convert the video, which will convert it to 15 FPS

My mistake, I have been inactive for a while, and didn't know about video support.
