As often as this question probably comes up, will it completely void my iPod warranty?

Also, does it, as I've heard, kill battery power quickly? (Not that this is a problem either way)

And as much as I would like to ask whether it could damage my iPod, I know it's a theoretical possibility.

No this won't void your warrenty, yes it will use up your battery faster, and no, it is impossible to kill your ipod with this
