WPS freezes

hey im new, but i have been using rockbox off and on for about 6 months

my wps, basically its just my backdrop with the default wps starts freezing at random.  this songs still play but i have to reboot when the songs or over or when i want to browse ect.  I does not freeze anyother menu


some times it wont freeze, sometimes it will.  

could this have something to do with using my backdrop??


also, since my re-install of rockbox, a can no longer find the backdrop folder on my ipod.  So, i have to manually write the image in CFG file

could someone direct me to where is can seek help on the backdrop issue??  

or if anyone knows let me know

Are you using a relatively new version of Rockbox? If so, when was the last time your bootloader was updated? Versions of Rockbox from this month should be used with the newest bootloader.

If you have an older one, or even just think you might have an older one, follow the instructions in section 2.2.2 of the manual. It is the section about how to install the bootloader, but if you follow them exactly as they're written, they will also upgrade an old one instead.

ok i will try that, i am sure i have an old version of the boot loader with a new build.  i will repost if further problems occur
