Ipod color stuck at black screen with white logo

I've tried resetting it, but nothing seems to be working at all.  Anything different that I might need to try?

Nevermind.  My menu button is very finicky.

same thing happend to me but you have to actually unzip the files to the root of your iPod to get it working

so go to the main menu and pick one and unzip it in the root

i have the same problem but my ipod wont even be reconized by my computer it just stays in the black menu with the silver apple....
