Downloading a rom is 100% illegal unless YOU extracted the rom image yourself, but you are not entitled the rights to redistribute the rom.

ROCKBOX ADMINISTRATION IS VERY STRICT WITH LEGAL ISSUES SUCH AS THESE, AND THEY RESPECT THEM, SO PLEASE DO NOT POST WEBSITES TO ILLEGAL ROM DOWNLOADS!

There should be no discussion, encouragement, condoning, or even hinting at copyright infringement on the Rockbox forums.
