uninstalling on a 60gb video ipod

ok..so i have rockbox on my 60gb ipod video..and i was setting up a data base or something..(loading the songs) and then i started playing a song and it got to 17 seconds into the song then the ipod froze and the song stopped playing so i tried turning the ipod off and nothing so i unplugged the usb port from my wall charger and the ipod turned off..now the ipod wont turn on at all when i plug it in the computer it says please wait very low battery, i just replaced the battery about 3 days ago and i know the battery isnt finished because its practically brand new..can anyone help me get my ipod back to the apple firmware?

also i was reading that people said to charge the ipod and enter disk mode..well i cant..the ipod has been charging since about 2:30pm and its now almost 5am and i still cant get it to say anything other then please wait battery very low, also the ipod wont turn on at all when its plugged into the wall..it just says please wait battery very low when its plugged into the wall..same with the computer..and thats as much as i can get it to turn on..
when its not pluged in it wont turn on at all

Turn hold ON, turn hold OFF, hold Menu+Select for about 30 seconds (and I mean this amount of time literally, it make take less, but it can take as much as this much.) Do this while the iPod is plugged into the wall or a computer.

If it doesn't do anything, do it again. It should work if you keep trying it.

Of course you could have bought a defective battery.....  Sometimes those replacement batteries are junk....  Depends on where you get it from.
