tried to install on my 60gb video but now my ipod doesnt work, help please

after i installed it my ipod only has the apple logo it has when it resets, it wont go away and i doesnt connect with my computer

Do that.  You need to hold SELECT+PLAY together immediately after your ipod reboots.  It should then enter disk mode, and you can connect it to your computer and fix the problem.

its sound like you downloaded the bootloader but not the actual operating files for rockbox! follow the above instructions to get it into disk mode then put the rockbox operating system files on ur ipod.

Im having this same issue with my 80g ipod video. I've loaded disk mode and tried reinstalling several versions of the builds for ipod video but all of them still load up to the apple emblem and then just stay there until I reboot the system. was anyone successful in fixing this problem?

Rockbox doesn't work on the 80GB ipod video - as mentioned on the front page of the website, and in the manual for the ipod video.
