I see the original firmware loading. Then I see a dialog with "refresh database". After the bar of the dialog is filled the display freezes and it reboots.
I must say that I haven't the original firmware of the player. I took the european firmware from Dave Chapman (http://daniel.haxx.se/sansa/mi4.html)
maybe this firmware doesn't work with my e270.
tarant:
I confess that I haven't understand it correctly.
But I was able to go to the recovery mode (for the first time). Then my windows xp machine shows a 16MB-FORMAT drive now. (!?)
I wasn't able to connect with e200tool yet. (win xp) Still not found a device.
What can (should) I do now?
Thanks!
tarant:
I GOT IT BACK !!! ;D
But the "SanDisk Sansa e200 (European) " from Dave Chapman crashes!
I took now the 1.02.15a !!
Cool!
Thanks a lot !! ;D :D
I will try rockbox again and use dualboot with this 1.02.15a firmware for the USB support.
Question: Is this recovery mode a feature of every sansa e200 or is it a feature of the bootloader that I have installed?
